About PSA
What is PSA?
Phoenix Screenwriters Association Inc., (PSA) is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization, whose mission is to help screenwriters and filmmakers hone their skills by providing interactive and inspirational training events and supportive networking opportunities with others in the industry.
Phoenix Screenwriters Association started in 2009 as a small writers group on meetup (still active) and quickly grew into Arizona’s preeminent screenwriters’ organization. In 2016, we became a non-profit 501(c)(3) which has opened the door to allowing us to offer more for our members. With our dedicated Board of Directors and Officers, and a committed base of volunteers, we have a great group dedicated to bringing education to the Valley.
Our goal is to educate our local screenwriters and filmmakers and help them achieve their dream.
What can PSA do for you?
PSA is the preeminent screenwriting organization in the valley. We exist to help our members find screenwriting success. The toughest step for every writer is committing to the decision to write. Screenwriting isn't easy, but it helps to have a fun, encouraging community.
Whether you're brand new to the craft or a grizzled veteran, PSA can help you on your journey. We are committed to fostering a fun, easygoing environment for creative growth.
We encourage you to reach out! Come to an event or two. Our events- many of them free to attend- sell themselves. We can help you develop your ideas into completed scripts.
